The report analysed audited visitor statistics and surveys as well as XPO data covering exhibitor and financials records for buildnz | designex 2014, EMEX 2014 , FoodTech PackTech 2014, Autumn Gift & Homewares Fair 2014, Spring Gift & Homewares Fair 2014

- More than 32,000 visitors and exhibition staff attended the events
- Average spending power of trade visitors >$75K
- $1.7B in total purchasing power
- 22,423 visitor nights from domestic and international trade visitors
- The tourism spend, event delivery and organisation expenditure had a positive regional GDP impact to Auckland of $7.28m (this number excludes the 10s of millions in trade spend onsite and post event between exhibitor and trade visitor)
